In Mecca’s fifth year collaborating with an artist for their holiday campaign and as part of an ongoing project with NGV, Mecca commissioned Tammy Kanat to create four works for the gallery. The four woven artworks feature Tammy’s signature, intricate patterns made using wool, silk and copper. A print of Tammy’s artwork adorned Mecca’s packaging, store fitouts and marketing materials throughout their holiday campaign. the four, original works commissioned by Mecca form part of the NGV's permanent collection and were on display at NGV Australia, Federation Square. Blue Halo 2020 was acquired by Mecca for their corporate art collection and hangs permanently in their head quarters. Pink Tulip 2019 & Lightrays 2018 were acquired by private art collectors.
