The acclaimed fibre artist’s most ambitious body of work to date, Circle of Her explores female archetypes through large-scale woven installations. Immersive, sculptural and deeply personal, it’s a meditation on material storytelling, connection and renewal.

Along with archetypes such as Lilith, Miriam, Sarah and Ruth, the sculptures pay tribute to the women in the artist’s own life – her mother, daughters, sister, friends and fellow artists – all part of a circle that holds, nurtures and binds. For at its heart, Circle of Her is about honouring the threads that shape us, the women we come from, those beside us and the ones we carry within.

‘As I began working, I found myself listening differently, not to the materials, but to something internal and somehow older than me. These pieces are vessels for presence, intuition and transformation’ – Tammy Kanat.
